Braids and Buns: Protective styles for kids
I am posting a couple of hairdos I did for my kidos. I am really enjoying caring for and styling their hair. I recently went to Virginia College to enquire about their cosmetology program. I would like to become a licensed hair stylist and specialize in natural hair.
I saw some elaborate braid patterns that I wanted to do on my son's hair. However, I am not there yet. After my attempt, I understand now why people have those hair mannequins. A three year old will not sit still long enough for you to perfect your braiding technique.
I did a bun for my daughter to wear throughout the week. I am really proud of it because I was able to tuck all of her ends in and it does not look fuzzy at the bun site. I did not wash her hair before doing this style because of lack of time, but I did moisturize it.

Can you believe that I only learned how to braid a month ago?
